Why do we worship?

We worship because God is worthy of all our praise. He created us, redeemed us through Christ and sustains us by His grace day after day. Worship is our joyful response to who God is and all he has done for us.

As the Bible teaches, Sunday is not just a day of physical rest, but a day set apart for spiritual renewal. It’s a time to gather as a church family, to hear God’s Word, to speak to Him in prayer and song and to be reminded of the hope we have in Christ.

What happens in a service?

Our services include prayer, Scripture reading, congregational singing, the sacraments — infant baptism and the Lord’s Supper — and Christ-centered preaching. Whether you’ve grown up in the church or are exploring faith for the first time, we invite you to join us as we discover the hope we have in Christ and worship him for his faithfulness.

What is available for kids.

Scripture teaches us that our children are deeply loved by God and an important part of His church. As such, all children are welcome in all services and are encouraged to participate as much as they are capable. We also have two free nurseries that run during each service for smaller children who need a place to play. In addition to this there is a 20 minute Sunday School lesson that is taught immediately following our 9:30 am service where children will learn a bible story and to a craft.

• Participate in worship
• Play in the infant or toddler nursery
•  Join our 20 minute Sunday School lesson after the 9:30 am service

Join us for fellowship after the service!

You don’t have to rush off when the service ends. Each Sunday, we gather after worship to enjoy a warm cup of coffee and friendly conversation. It’s a time to catch up, meet someone new, and continue building one another up in Christ.

Frequently Asked Questions

Sunday services are at 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Parking is located behind and in front of the church. There is reserved parking for the elderly and those with disabilities.
Our style of worship is simple and traditional. Our liturgy is composed of prayer, the reading of the Ten Commandments, hymns, psalms and a sermon.
Each Sunday, people at both doors will welcome you, help you find your way around and point you to others should you have further questions. An usher will give you a bulletin which provides a guide to what happens in each service. You are invited to stay for refreshments following Sunday morning worship. Please join us in the Fellowship Hall (right beside the sanctuary) for coffee/tea/juice and a chance to chat. If you would like a place to visit after the morning service for coffee and/or lunch, our Host Family for that Sunday would be pleased to welcome you to their home.
Our church provides Nursery care for those who desire it. Infants are in the nursery upstairs while those aged about 18 months and older have room to play downstairs. An Extended Nursery program for 3 and 4 yr. olds is offered in the far room downstairs. Prayer, singing, and a Bible story as well as play time are part of this program. Kindergarten and school-aged children are encouraged to be part of regular worship. Children ages 3-5 are welcome to a short Sunday School program held downstairs immediately following morning worship.
If you are considering membership or just want to know more, we will be glad to direct you to speak with one of our elders or our Pastor. If you would like to transfer your membership form a related church, our elders will meet with you to get to know you and welcome you. If you are interested in joining but do not have membership currently in a sister church, typically you will be asked to take a New Members class.
Our church leadership consists of a minister, elders and deacons. The minister’s calling is to preach and administer the sacraments of Baptism and Communion. Elders are to teach, disciple, guide and correct the flock. Deacons provide comfort to the needy and encouragement to all members of the congregation.
We have a variety of Bible studies, programs and ways to get involved for children, youth and adults. We’d love you to join us! Please check Get Involved for more information and contact the church office if you would like more information.
